The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) states that a public consultation on the proposed special electricity tariff revision for 2026 will be held today (06).
According to the PUCSL, oral submissions will be accepted from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm at the Bandaranaike International Conference Hall in Colombo.
The consultation relates to the special tariff revision proposed by the National System Operator (Pvt) Ltd for the second and third quarters of 2026, with the PUCSL seeking public input before finalizing its decision.
The PUCSL previously stated that the final decision on the revised electricity tariffs is scheduled to be announced on May 9. (Newswire)
