Police confirmed that organized crime suspect Manoj Suranga, alias ‘Batuwatte Chamara’, who was arrested in Azerbaijan, was brought back to Sri Lanka last night.
He was reportedly escorted to the island via India by a Sri Lankan police team that had departed the country on May 7 for the operation. (Newswire)
