Police have launched an investigation following reports of a person found dead under suspicious circumstances inside a house in the Badovita area of Mount Lavinia.
The deceased has been identified as a 54-year-old resident of Badovita, Mount Lavinia.
Police said the man had been living alone in the house, and a small cut injury was observed on his neck.
The body has been placed at the mortuary of the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
