Official CBSL rates : Major jump in USD, AUD, Pound, Riyal, Dirham

The Sri Lankan Rupee continues its depreciation against the US Dollar, with the selling rate jumping by Rs. 11 to Rs. 354 today (21), compared to Wednesday. 

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 332.08 to Rs. 342.63, increasing by Rs. 10.55. 

Meanwhile, the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 342.70 to Rs. 354.03, increasing by Rs. 11. 

The Sri Lankan Rupee has also depreciated against a basket of currencies, especially the Australian Dollar, Euro, and Sterling Pound, as well as Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
