
The Sri Lankan Rupee appreciated today (26) against the US Dollar, compared to Monday, with commercial banks lowering the selling rate as low as Rs. 326.00 in some banks.
At NDB Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have reduced from Rs. 325.50 to Rs. 321.5 and from Rs. 334.50 to Rs. 330.5 respectively.
People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 320.58 to Rs. 321.57 while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 329.66 to Rs. 330.67.
Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates have reduced from Rs. 324.47 to Rs. 314.04 and from Rs. 335.50 to Rs. 326.00 respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have decreased from Rs. 321.50 to Rs. 318 and from Rs. 330.50 to Rs. 327 (Newswire)
