
The Sri Lankan Rupee depreciated today (27) against the US Dollar, compared to Tuesday, with commercial banks increasing both their buying and selling rates.
According to Seylan Bank the buying rate of the US dollar is at Rs. 321.75 while the selling rate is at Rs. 335.50.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 321.5 to Rs. 325 while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 330.5 to Rs. 334.
People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 321.57 to Rs. 322.56 while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 330.67 to Rs. 331.69.
Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 314.04 to Rs. 320.99 and from Rs. 326.00 to Rs. 333 respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 318 to Rs. 324.5 and from Rs. 327 to Rs.333.5 (Newswire)
