Dollar Rate today: USD selling rate increases slightly in banks

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (01), compared to last Friday. However, the selling rate remains below Rs. 340. 

According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 321.75 to Rs. 323.25, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 335.50 to Rs. 337.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 323.50 to Rs. 326, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 332.50 to Rs. 335.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 324.53 to Rs. 326.50, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 333.72 to Rs. 335.74.

Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 322.48 to Rs. 322.98 and from Rs. 334.50 to Rs. 335, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 324.50 to Rs. 326.50 and from Rs. 333.50 to Rs. 335.50, respectively. (Newswire)
