Members of Parliament are to be briefed on Sri Lanka’s current monetary policy framework and related economic matters at a special awareness programme organised by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
The programme will be held at the Parliament complex on June 10, with the participation of CBSL Governor and senior Central Bank officials.
The initiative follows a request made by Deputy Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Anil Jayantha.
Approval for the programme was granted by the Committee on Parliamentary Business at its meeting on Monday (01). (Newswire)
