The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that water supply to several areas will be suspended until 8.00 pm today (05) following an emergency breakage in the main pipeline carrying water from Ambatale to Kolonnawa.
According to the Water Board, the interruption affects residents in Moragasmulla, Rajagiriya, Nawala, Obesekarapura, and the Kolonnawa Municipal Council areas.
The Water Board said repair work is underway and urged consumers in the affected localities to use water sparingly until services are restored. (Newswire)
