CBSL Rates : USD selling rate decreases to Rs. 341

The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar today (08), compared to last Friday, with the selling rate dropping below Rs. 342. 

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs.  332.27 to Rs. 331.22, while the selling rate has also decreased from Rs. 342.00 to Rs. 341.04.

The Sri Lankan Rupee has also significantly appreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, including the Australian and Canadian Dollars, the Euro, the Sterling Pound and the Swiss Franc. 

The Rupee has also appreciated slightly against the Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
