
Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya met with Indigenous community leader Uruwarige Wannila Aththo at the Parliament premises on Friday (June 12).
The meeting focused on challenges faced by Indigenous communities, particularly issues related to accessing and using their traditional lands.
During the discussions, attention was drawn to the difficulties encountered by Indigenous people in safeguarding their land rights and maintaining their traditional way of life.
