The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for strong winds and rough seas for the sea areas extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
Effective until 01.00 pm tomorrow (19), the Met Department warns that the sea areas off the coasts extending from Matara to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be rough at times with strong gusty winds up to 50-60 kmph.
The Naval and fishing communities are requested to be vigilant in this regard. (Newswire)
