Dollar rate today: USD selling rate drops to Rs. 338

The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (19), compared to Thursday, with the selling rate decreasing to Rs. 338.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has decreased from Rs. 329.25 to Rs. 329, while the selling rate has decreased from Rs. 339.50 to Rs. 339.25. 

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has decreased from Rs. 330 to Rs. 329.50, while the selling rate has also decreased from Rs. 339.00 to Rs. 338.50. 

However, at People’s Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 328.13 to Rs. 327.74, while the selling rate decreased from Rs. 338.46 to Rs. 338.05.

Commercial Bank reports that the buying rate has decreased from Rs. 328.06 to Rs. 327.57 and the selling rate has decreased from Rs. 338.00 to Rs. 337.50, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have decreased from Rs. 329.50 to Rs. 329 and from Rs. 338.50 to Rs. 338, respectively. (Newswire)
