Sri Lanka’s Rumesh Tharanga produced another great performance of his career to win the men’s javelin event at the Doha Diamond League with a remarkable throw of 88.68 metres.
Competing against a world-class field, Tharanga delivered the winning effort to finish ahead of Grenada’s Anderson Peters, who recorded 86.38m, and American Curtis Thompson, who threw 85.99m.
