Dollar rate today: USD selling rate steady at Rs. 338

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (22), compared to last Friday, with the selling rate steady at Rs. 338 in most banks.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 329 to Rs. 329.50, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 339.25 to Rs. 339.75. 

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has  increased from Rs. 329.50 to Rs. 329.75, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 338.50 to Rs. 338.75. 

At People’s Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 327.74 to Rs. 328.23, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 338.05 to Rs. 338.56.

Commercial Bank reports that the buying rate has increased from Rs. 327.57 to Rs. 328.31 and the selling rate from Rs. 337.50 to Rs. 338.25.

At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 329.00 to Rs. 329.50 and from Rs. 338.00 to Rs. 338.50, respectively. (Newswire)
