US President Donald Trump has threatened to attack Iran “hard” tonight, hours after saying he believes the US-Iran ceasefire is “over.”
Speaking at the NATO summit in Turkey, Trump said the United States was likely to carry out fresh strikes on Iran following the latest escalation.
“I’ll give a little warning: We’re going to hit them hard tonight,” Trump told reporters.
Trump also launched a strong attack on Iran’s leadership, saying: “I don’t want to deal with them anymore, they’re scum. They’re sick people, they’re led by sick people.”
He said negotiators from both sides could continue talks, but added: “I think they’re wasting their time.” (Newswire)
