Dollar rate today : USD selling rate drops to Rs. 340

The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar across commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (10), compared to Thursday, with the selling rate dropping to Rs. 340 in most banks.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have decreased from Rs. 331.75 to Rs. 331.00 and from Rs. 341.00 to Rs. 340.25, respectively. 

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 331.50 to Rs. 331.25, while the selling rate has also decreased from Rs. 340.50 to Rs. 340.25.

At People’s Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 332.26 to Rs. 331.66, while the selling rate has also decreased from Rs. 341.09 to Rs. 340.48.

Commercial Bank reports that the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 329.55 to Rs. 329.80 and from Rs. 339.50 to Rs. 339.75, respectively.

At Sampath Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 332.50 to Rs. 331.25, while the selling rate has also decreased from Rs. 341.50 to Rs. 340.25. (Newswire)
