The Court of Appeal has ordered that its decision on whether to grant permission to hear a petition seeking the postponement of the upcoming G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination will be announced on July 23.
The petition, filed by a group of students scheduled to sit for the examination, was taken up before the Court today (16).
After reviewing submissions made by both the petitioners and the Attorney General, the bench of judges issued the order fixing the date for the ruling.
The petitioners argue that the current examination schedule is unfair and have requested judicial intervention to delay the sitting of the A/L exam. (Newswire)
