Sri Lanka’s Kandy, Mawanella and Dambulla featured in ‘Peddi’ Movie

The Telugu film Peddi, currently screening in cinemas worldwide, features several scenes filmed in Sri Lanka, including the country’s scenic central highlands.

Filming took place at a number of locations across the island, including Udawattekele Forest in Kandy, the Ihalakotte Tunnel and Railway Station in Mawanella, Riverston, and Kaludiya Pokuna in Dambulla.

The Sri Lanka schedule was handled by IYNGARAN Media Solutions Pvt. Ltd., which served as the local line production partner.

Starring Ram Charan and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi highlights Sri Lanka’s natural landscapes as part of its cinematic backdrop. (Newswire)
