CBSL rates: Rupee depreciates slightly against US Dollar

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar today (21), compared to Monday, but the USD selling rate remains steady at Rs. 340.

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 331.50 to Rs. 331.56.

The selling rate of the US Dollar has also increased from Rs. 340.90 to Rs. 340.94. 

The Sri Lankan Rupee has largely appreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has depreciated slightly against Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
