The Ministry of Education has announced the schedule for the end of the second school term and the commencement of the third term for government and government-approved private schools in 2026.
The second school term for Sinhala and Tamil schools will end on Friday, July 24, 2026. The first stage of the third school term will begin on Monday, July 27, 2026.
For Muslim schools, the second school term will end on Friday, July 31, 2026, while the first stage of the third school term will commence on Monday, August 3, 2026. (Newswire)
