A person who was shot at a hotel near the Kadirana Bridge in Wattala on Thursday night has died from his injuries, Police said.
The victim succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to hospital following the shooting.
Police have launched an investigation to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the attack.
The incident marks the second fatal shooting reported in the country on Thursday, following an earlier shooting in Dematagoda. (Newswire)
