An individual was injured in a shooting near the Kuppiyawatta Cemetery in Dematagoda after two gunmen arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire, according to Police.
The injured person was admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the shooting.
