President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has appointed M. K. Saman Sri Ratnayake as the new Chairman and a member of the Delimitation Commission.
M. B. Rohana Pushpakumara and K. Thavalingam have been appointed as the other members of the Commission.
The relevant letters of appointment were presented to them by Secretary to the President Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat this afternoon (24).
The appointments have been made to fill the vacancies that arose following the expiry of the terms of office of the members of the Delimitation Commission. (PMD)
