Sri Lanka Police has called for applications to fill 383 vacancies in the Police Auxiliary Service, including positions in a wide range of technical and professional fields.
According to Government Gazette Extraordinary No. 2497 dated July 10, 2026, recruitment will be carried out for 177 Sub-Inspector vacancies and 206 Police Constable vacancies.
Applications will be accepted until August 14, 2026, and candidates are required to submit their applications exclusively through the online application system.
Sub-Inspector vacancies are available in fields including website editing and development, systems analysis, programming, computer hardware and networking, graphic design, quantity surveying, mechanics, catering and planning.
Male and female candidates can also apply for Sub-Inspector positions as pharmacists, electrical draftsmen, medical laboratory technicians and nurses.
Police Constable vacancies cover several technical roles, including refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians, drivers, electronics technicians, mechanics, computer operators, welders, sound system operators and stage lighting technicians.
Male and female candidates are also being recruited as makeup artists and fitness instructors.
Sri Lanka Police has requested that suitably qualified candidates be informed of the recruitment opportunities ahead of the August 14 application deadline. (Newswire)
