Sri Lanka’s Colombo Metro Transit bus network is expected to be fully operational from September, Transport Minister Bimal Rathnayake has announced.
The Minister shared the planned route map, showing a network of services connecting Colombo with several key suburbs and transport hubs.
The routes include connections to Makumbura, Millennium City, Kadawatha, Panadura, Ekala and Kesbewa, along with a Kollupitiya circular service.
The Metro Transit initiative is aimed at improving public transport connectivity in Colombo and surrounding areas through a network of modern bus services. (Newswire)
