Health Minister Nalinda Jayatissa has announced that applications are being called for training programmes in eight fields under the para-medical services sector.
The training programmes are open for the following professions: Dental Technician, Public Health Inspector, Prosthetist and Orthotist, Health Entomology Officer, School Dental Therapist, Electro Cardiographer, Dispenser and Electro Encephalographer.
According to a Facebook post by the Minister, further information, including professional and educational qualifications required for the programmes, is available in Gazette Extraordinary No. 2501 dated August 7, 2026.
Applications are being called in accordance with the provisions of the Gazette notification. (Newswire)
