Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s private secretary, Sugeeshwara Bandara, has been ordered to remain in remand until August 25.
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court today rejected his bail request in connection with allegations that he obtained two salaries under the President’s expenditure head.
Bandara, who is currently in custody, was produced before court where the Magistrate ruled that he should continue to be held until the next hearing date. (Newswire)
