Australian police have charged four men after allegedly seizing two handguns designed to fold and resemble mobile phones during an operation in Queensland.
Queensland Police said officers from the Moreton Tactical Crime Squad, assisted by the Public Safety Response Team and Dog Squad, executed a search warrant at a property on Cross Street in Deception Bay shortly after 5 p.m. on August 2.
During the search, police allegedly located two handguns that could be folded to resemble mobile phones.
Four men were subsequently charged following what police described as extensive investigations into the matter.
The case remains before the courts and the allegations against those charged have not been proven.
