Former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has been arrested by officials of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
Rambukwella appeared before CIABOC this morning to provide a statement in connection with an ongoing investigation.
It is reported that the investigation relates to the recruitment of six employees to the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation in excess of the approved cadre, allegedly resulting in a financial loss to the state. (Newswire)
