A 22-year-old was arrested with about 18.7 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as “Ice,” during a police raid in Maswila, Bandaragama, police said.
Police said officers from the Special Task Force conducted the raid at Wenkesiyawatta, Maswila, based on information received by the unit.
The suspect, a Bandaragama resident, was arrested while allegedly in possession of the drugs.
He was handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation. (Newswire)
