Fourteen Lamborghini luxury vehicles have reportedly arrived at Hambantota Port by sea and are being transported to Bandaranaike International Airport for onward shipment to Dubai and Doha by air.
The vehicles, packed into seven 40-foot containers, are scheduled to leave BIA on August 21.
The operation highlights Sri Lanka’s emerging role as a sea-to-air cargo transit point amid disruptions to traditional Middle East shipping routes. (Newswire)
