Veteran Sri Lankan singer Nanda Malini has passed away at the age of 82 at her residence in Nawala.
Nanda Malini, born on Aug. 23, 1943, was one of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated and influential vocalists, with a career spanning nearly seven decades.
Known for songs exploring social issues, human relationships and everyday life, she became a defining voice in Sri Lankan music and was widely recognised for using her art to address social injustice and other issues
