Sugeeshwara Bandara, former private secretary to former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, has been admitted to the prison hospital after a wound on his leg had reportedly worsened.
Reports said Bandara, who is currently in remand custody, was transferred to the prison hospital yesterday (21) due to the condition.
Bandara was arrested in connection with an investigation into allegations that he had received salaries from two state institutions. (Newswire)
