Train operations on the Northern railway line were disrupted today after a train traveling from Polgahawela to Maho derailed at the Potuhera railway station, the Railway Department confirmed.
The department said the derailment has caused an obstruction on the line, forcing delays to all trains scheduled to pass Potuhera station.
Services are expected to run behind schedule until clearance work is completed, the Railway Department added. (Newswire)
