Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from September 2–3, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
According to a Foreign Ministry statement, during the visit, Minister Herath is scheduled to meet several key UAE leaders, including Dr. Abdulrahman Abdulmannan Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism, to discuss matters of mutual interest.
On September 2, Minister Herath will join Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the UAE, at the second edition of “Sri Lanka Beyond Your Dreams” in Dubai, a promotional event showcasing Sri Lanka’s tourism and investment opportunities. (Newswire)
