Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa has been summoned to appear before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) on Friday (4).
Rajapaksa’s attorney, Muditha R. Lokumudali, said CIABOC had formally notified his client in writing to appear before the Commission at 9 a.m.
According to the attorney, Rajapaksa has agreed to comply with the summons and will appear before the Commission as requested.
Rajapaksa was initially informed on Monday that he was required to appear before CIABOC on September 4.
