Foreign Employment Bureau appoints 100 new employees

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment has appointed 100 new employees to fill vacancies and strengthen the services provided to migrant workers and overseas job seekers.

The appointments were made on Monday (7) under the patronage of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath.

The new recruits have been appointed as management assistants, information technology officers, drivers and office assistants.

The bureau said the appointments were made following an open recruitment process, with applicants selected based on the required educational and professional qualifications.

The new employees will be assigned to the bureau’s head office and provincial and district offices based on staffing requirements, with the aim of ensuring more efficient and uninterrupted services to migrant workers, prospective foreign workers and their families.
