President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to address a National People’s Power (NPP) farmers’ rally in Polonnaruwa on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The rally, organised under the theme “People’s Rule – Two Years Strong, Progress for All,” is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
The event is the latest in a series of rallies organised by the NPP marking two years of its administration.
According to promotional material released for the event, the Polonnaruwa gathering will focus on farmers and the agriculture sector.
