Katharine Smart has set out on a daring mission to establish a Guinness World Record as the fastest woman to walk more than 500 kilometers across Sri Lanka.
Her journey began in Kilinochchi and is scheduled to conclude in Matara, with the ambitious goal of completing the trek in under 110 hours.
Covering more than 100 kilometers per day, Smart is traversing diverse landscapes while enduring significant physical challenges.
Throughout the walk, she is powered by Nestomalt, which has partnered with her to provide strength and encouragement.
The campaign emphasizes resilience, with Smart pressing forward despite obstacles.
Beyond the record attempt, Smart’s journey also serves a humanitarian purpose: raising funds for the charity Their Future Today, which supports vulnerable children in Sri Lanka.
