Issuing vehicle revenue licences through the Electronic Revenue Licensing (eRL 2.0) System will be temporarily suspended in all provinces except the Western Province from September 25 to 28, 2026.
According to the Ministry of Digital Economy, the temporary suspension is being implemented to facilitate a critical infrastructure update to the system.
The Ministry added that operations will resume across all affected provinces following the completion of the system upgrade on September 28. Motorists in provinces outside the Western Province are advised to plan their revenue licence renewals accordingly during this period. (Newswire)
