
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a proposal to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lithuania to establish a formal political consultation mechanism between the two nations, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
Submitted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, the MoU will be signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism.
The agreement aims to deepen bilateral ties and bolster cooperation across multiple sectors, including political, economic, commercial, scientific, technical and cultural spheres, while advancing shared objectives between both countries. (Newswire)
