Sri Lanka Police have sought public assistance to identify and arrest a woman suspected of withdrawing money using another woman’s ATM card in Kohuwala.
According to the Police, a complaint was lodged with the Kohuwala Police Station regarding an alleged unauthorised withdrawal using the ATM card of a woman residing in Rawathawatta, Moratuwa, on September 26, 2025.
Investigations revealed that a female suspect had allegedly used the card to withdraw money from an ATM at the People’s Bank branch in Kohuwala.
Police have obtained CCTV footage from the ATM and released photographs of the suspected woman to assist in identifying and locating her.
