Five Thai women have been arrested during a police raid on a suspected brothel operating under the guise of a massage centre in Wellawatte.
According to police, the raid was conducted on October 23 at a premises on Marine Drive following information received by Wellawatte Police.
One woman was arrested on suspicion of managing the establishment, while four others were arrested over alleged involvement in prostitution.
All five suspects are Thai nationals aged between 35 and 43.
Wellawatte Police are conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
