A group of 10 airport managers from Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) will travel to India for a specialised capacity-building programme at the Indian Aviation Academy in New Delhi.
According to the Indian High Commission in Colombo, the programme will be held from November 16 to 27, 2026, providing participants with an opportunity to learn international best practices in the aviation sector and exchange professional expertise.
Ahead of the visit, the Indian High Commission hosted an interactive session with the participating airport managers.
The training programme forms part of India’s expanded capacity-building framework for Sri Lanka, which provides training opportunities to more than 1,000 Sri Lankan citizens annually.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening professional skills and enhancing cooperation between India and Sri Lanka in the aviation sector. (Newswire)
