Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets rose by 1% to USD 6.14 billion at the end of July 2025, up from USD 6.08 billion in June, according to data from the Central Bank.

Foreign currency reserves accounted for USD 6.06 billion of the total, while gold holdings remained at USD 50 million. The reserve position in the International Monetary Fund stood at USD 29 million.
