Litro Gas Lanka has announced district-wise LP gas prices effective from April 6, 2026, with prices varying across the country depending on distribution and transport costs.
According to the new price list, the 12.5kg domestic gas cylinder ranges from Rs. 4,765 in Colombo and Gampaha districts to Rs. 5,127.25 in Jaffna, marking the highest price.
The 5kg cylinder ranges between Rs. 1,910 in Colombo and Gampaha and Rs. 2,124.01 in Jaffna, while the 2.3kg cylinder ranges from Rs. 890 in Colombo and Gampaha to Rs. 1,060.29 in Jaffna.
Several districts including Ampara, Badulla, Batticaloa, Kilinochchi, Monaragala, and Mullaitivu recorded prices above Rs. 5,000 for the 12.5kg cylinder.
Litro Gas earlier announced that the Colombo price for a 12.5kg cylinder was increased to Rs. 4,765, with district prices adjusted based on transportation costs.
The revised district-wise prices will come into effect from April 6, 2026, Litro Gas said. (Newswire)
