Two Thai nationals were arrested during a raid on a premises allegedly operating as a brothel under the guise of a massage center in the Wellawatte area, police said.
The raid was carried out on the night of February 12 by officers of the Colombo South Divisional Crimes Investigation Bureau at a location along Marine Drive.
Police said one suspect was managing the premises, while the other was present for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
The two women, aged 36 and 41, were handed over to the Wellawatte Police Station. Further investigations are ongoing. (Newswire)
