
Veteran Sri Lankan model and actress Chulpadmendra Kumarapathirana has passed away at the age of 46.
According to reports, Kumarapathirana suddenly fell ill while at home and was subsequently admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo, where she passed away.
Kumarapathirana entered the entertainment industry as an actress and gained popularity among television audiences through her role in the teledrama “Wahinna Muthu Wessak.”
She later became actively involved in the fashion and modelling industry, establishing herself as a prominent figure in the field.
Kumarapathirana had remained active in the industry until recently, participating in modelling and beauty pageant-related events.
She was also seen attending a pageant event as recently as Sunday, a day before news of her sudden death emerged, leaving many in the modelling and pageant community shocked.
