An extraordinary incident has shaken Kohobankulama village in Galgamuwa, where a man declared dead by police arrived alive at the very house prepared for his funeral.
The individual, identified as D. M. Keerthisena, a resident of Kohobankulama, had reportedly been held at Wariyapola Prison. His relatives were informed by Nanneriya Police that he had died while in custody.
Shocked by the announcement, family members and villagers immediately began funeral preparations. Banners were displayed across the village, pandals erected, and arrangements for cremation were underway.
To everyone’s astonishment, Keerthisena suddenly appeared at his home alive, walking into the funeral house that had been prepared for him. His unexpected arrival caused widespread commotion throughout the village.
